Summer Housing Rates

Summer Conference Housing at UNC Charlotte is only available from June 1 - July 31, 2025.

Traditional Residence Hall Living (also called Towers):

Description:  These air-conditioned halls provide two-person bedrooms and hall-style bathrooms. Depending on demand, single rooms may be available. Each room has a twin xl bed, desk with chair and wardrobe/closet for each person. Free communal laundry/kitchen facilities, vending machines and TV lounges available in the building. A linen pack* may be added at $30.00 per person. 

Base Rates:

  • Double occupancy (2 people per bedroom) (no linen*) - $26.00** per person per night
  • Single occupancy (1 person per bedroom) (no linen*) - $35.00** per person per night

Suite Style Living:

Description:  Suites are air-conditioned and offer a living room, bathroom and bedrooms. The bedrooms can be double (two-person) or single rooms. Suites can accommodate 1, 2, 3, or 4 people, depending on building and room layout. The living room is furnished with a couch and entertainment stand (TV not included). Each bedroom has a twin xl bed, desk with chair and wardrobe/closet for each person. Free communal laundry/kitchen facilities, vending machines and TV lounges are available in the building.  A linen pack* may be added at $30.00 per person.

Base Rates:

  • Double occupancy (2 people per bedroom, up to 4 people per suite) (no linen*) - $31.00** per person per night
  • Single occupancy (1 person per bedroom, up to 4 people per suite) (no linen*) - $39.00** per person per night

Private/Reserved Lounge:

  • $25.00 per day (upon contracted requested and availability; charged to group, not per person)

Discount Options:

  • 5% Group size Discount: For groups with 150-349 checked-in, over-night participants
  • 10% Group size Discount: For groups 350+ checked-in, over-night participants
  • 5% Longevity Discount: For groups/camps that stay 7-20 consecutive nights (Does not include early arrival guests)
  • 10% Longevity Discount: For groups/camps that stay 21+ consecutive nights (Does not include early arrival guests)
  • 5% Multi-Conference Discount: For groups contracting 3+ overnight events
  • Authorized Adult Discount: Authorized adults (AAs) are individuals age 18+ who supervise, chaperone or oversee youth participants. AAs will be offered a signle occupancy bedroom within the contracted room style at the Traditional Double Rate. AAs will not receive an entire suite or apartment unit to themselves. Required ratios of AAs to youth: 1:6 for ages 6-8; 1:8 for ages 9-14; 1:10 for ages 15-17. Oragnizers of youth events are required to adhere to University Policy 716
  • Note: Discounts cannot be stacked

Additional Notes:

  • Not all residential buildings are open/available during the summer.
  • Group’s check-in period in the residence halls may be scheduled between the hours of 7:00AM-8:00PM(based upon availability). 
  • Group’s check-out period on their departure day must conclude by 10:00AM.  Any check-outs past 10:00AM could be billed for an additional night at the contracted rate as well as a staffing coverage extension until all participants have checked out.  No check-in/outs will be scheduled on Independence Day, July 4, 2025. 
  • Groups requesting additional check-in/out coverage and additional tables/chairs may be billed depending on needs. 
  • Luggage storage options may be available with prior arrangements.  Accommodations for groups may be billed for storage/staffing coverage for luggage pickup. 
  • Group’s rosters and guarantees of residential attendance are due by 5:00PM (EST) 7 business days prior to the group’s arrival.  $10.00 per day for late/incomplete rosters would apply.  Groups will be charged 1 contracted night per person for each participant who is marked as a no show, regardless of whether or not day-of arrivals are added to the overnight stay.
  • Lost Key/Lock Change charges are front door electronic key $100.00, bedroom metal key $30.00 and conference card $10.00. 

* Linen Pack includes 1 pillow, 1 pillowcase, 1 mattress pad, 1 blanket, 2 sheets, 1 towel, 1 washcloth, 1 bath mat, and 2 bars of soap. Prior to departure, guests must bag their linen pack and leave in room.   Prior arrangements required for all linen accommodations.

** For Non-Affiliated Groups - Administrative Fee will be added to all of the above rates.
