  • Food and Beverages — All commercially prepared food on campus must come from Chartwells. Potlucks are permitted. Please contact Chartwells for available catering options.
  • Banners — Banners can be reserved inside the Union for a maximum of two weeks at a time. Two banner sizes (horizontal in orientation) are accepted: 3'(h)x5'(w) and 3'(h)x10'(w). Submit a normal reservation request form.
  • Promotional Tables — Promotional tables can be requested using the reservation request form. Information about table pick up and return will be provided with your confirmation. Amplified sound is not permitted at any promotional tables.

Extra info on showing films and posting marketing can be found on the Popp Martin Student Union website:

  • 25Live is the best resource for checking space availability on campus. A schedule of events with an option to filter by building is also available at 25livecalendar.charlotte.edu. For the availability of locations within a building, click on a location in the dropdown menu of the 25Live website.
  • The CRES website also has a list of on-campus buildings with their respective information, available on the Meeting and Recreational Facilities page.

The CRES Office has established scheduling periods specifically for registered student organizations that can be found below, as well as on the Scheduling Periods page under Reservations and Event Services. There, you will also find information on requests involving special events, recurring meetings and academic spaces.

SCHEDULING PERIODS

Requests are processed Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the order in which they are received. CRES will make every effort to respond to your request within three business days. If you are an off-campus organization, please complete the Event Request form.

If you log in using your NinerNet credentials when submitting a form, you can see information about all of the requests you've submitted when logged in, as well as the status of your requests.
